Why this fabric
Nylon ripstop is built for strength-to-weight: a reinforcing grid of heavier yarns woven at intervals stops small tears from propagating, making it the standard for outdoor and tactical applications. Our constructions span lightweight 20D-30D packable grades up to rugged 70D-200D for gear and tents. With PU/PA coating and PFC-free DWR, it delivers waterproof and abrasion-resistant performance while staying light. Nylon's superior tensile and tear strength over polyester makes it the right call where durability is non-negotiable.
